NEED AN ATTORNEY?

If your lucky, you may go through life without ever
needing the services of an attorney. Most of us find that
for some reason or another, we will need the professional
services of the right attorney. There will be times in our
lives when we either get involved with a business deal, or
someone else has caused us harm in one way or another and
that's when we need someone who knows how fight the hard
battles in our favor.
Some situations can be extremely complex. Take real estate
or contracts for example. Although you can read the
information and digest what it says, you need to remember
that there are far too many factors involved to go it
alone. In cases such as these, a professional attorney
will go over the paperwork with you to ensure every aspect
of the impending decision is covered. Yes, you will pay
but paying the price upfront could save you tremendous
money and headache on the backend.
When you find yourself in need of an attorney for whatever
reason, you may find yourself staring at the yellow pages
wondering what your looking for. Unless you've had some
kind of legal experience the best thing to do before
going to the yellow pages is calling your local bar
association. They will gladly guide you to the specific
attorney that can help you with whatever your problem may
be.
Another resource you can try is the Martindale Hubbell Law
Directory. It provides lists of attorneys within city and
state, so no matter where you live, you can find the right
attorney for you within your area. Searching the Internet
is another good way to search for an attorney, however,
this may be easier than looking through the yellow pages,
but it's basically the same thing.
Some attorney's will do it for free, while others charge
you for a 30 minuet consultation session. This is something
that can't be helped depending on what you need an attorney
for. Some attorney's charge by the hour and can nickel &
dime you to death. For example, some divorce attorney's
charge for writing up a document and even the paper the
document is written on, while others charge by the hour and
don't charge for some services, it all depends on the
attorney.
It is recommended that you interview at least three
attorney's before you choose, even if you like the first
one you meet. Just make sure your comfortable with who
you choose, ask pertinent questions about the cases
they've won and lost expect up front and honest answers.
You want an attorney working for you and will leave you
both feeling like you've come out on top in the end.
After all, choosing an attorney to handle your situation is
an important decision and depending on the circumstances,
it could be a critical decision. Therefore, you have the
right to know you are choosing the best attorney for you.
Then, you want to make sure you and the attorney go over
every detail of the terms before anything is signed. In
fact, we suggest you take documentation home to review it
in privacy where you can read and reread. Once you feel
the decision is right, you would likely pay a retainer fee.
>From there, the attorney would get started, bringing your
issue to resolve.
